Innovative
new international toll free phone service
to be introduced to Whitsunday's Tourism Operators.
A
new international toll free telephone service has been introduced
into the Whitsunday's to the benefit of the local tourism
hosts and operators.
Called
'WebCall My Whitsunday', the new service combines the ordinary
phone, VoIP, and the internet, to connect future visitors
with local operators economically.
The
new service is quite unique - it only takes a click on a webpage
to intiate the call between both parties. No need to look
up, remember or misdial telephone numbers anymore.
The
new My Whitsunday Network Portal provides a user friendly
interface called 'WebCall My Whitsunday' for web surfers to
phone registered Whitsunday operators directly. Web surfers
go to the MyWhitsunday Network Portal at www.mywhitsunday.net
, where they can select who they wish to phone by service
or operator. They then enter their own phone number and click
the Call button.
Within
seconds, 'WebCall My Whitsunday' calls the number that has
been entered. When answered, the service then calls the phone
of the Whitsunday's service selected. A 'Person to Person'
call is then made between the two parties. Calls cost the
Whitsunday's operator $1 for a 5 minute phone call from almost
anywhere in the world.
No
additional equipment or programmes are required - just a normal
phone on both ends of the call. A demonstration can be found

A
bonus to registering entitles the user to placea d WebCall
box on their own website, as well as the free listing and
link on the My Whitsunday Network Portal.
This
service will also be attractive to personal users who would
like their family and friends to keep in touch from overseas
inexpensively.
Registration
is free to anyone in the Whitsunday's with a local phone number.
There
are no monthly, annual, advertising or directory charges.
WebCall
My Whitsunday is currently testing this service and it will
be available in November.
